There is a lot of hype around removing the Microsoft drivers from the registry and that it will make your computer run faster. It's true, some people say, "You should remove it!" But, are you sure? And is it safe? I'll show you the facts about removing the Microsoft software and I'll even show you how to fix a corrupt registry, otherwise known as a registry error.
When you buy a computer, the manufacturer usually has a Windows license included. You usually get a little booklet with a list of all the program that you can use with your new computer. Many times they also have drivers. You need these programs for the PC to operate. You might be surprised to learn that the Microsoft Windows drivers are built into Windows. These drivers are not part of the software that you can download from the Internet. So you would not remove them, would you?
In order to use all the software you need for your computer you need to have these free drivers. Without these drivers your computer cannot function. They take care of all the little errors that the software makes on your computer. You see, when you use a free driver with your PC, it runs many programs that use the hardware of your computer. If you use a free driver then the program is using your hardware. But if you are using the proper Windows drivers then the software will be using your hardware instead of the computer's hardware.
